Yes, I’m alive.  Yesterday I stayed in bed all day reading, drinking juice and popping Advil for the caffeine withdrawals and eating chocolate to compensate a little for the drug loss of Americano’s.  No a bad day, I mean, when you get to read on of your favorite authors, Donna Gillespie – eat chocolate, and wear fuzzy socks… how can that be bad?

I’m astonished that I actually finished Nanowrimo.  Thank you all for being so supportive and encouraging.  I learned a lot about my writing rhythms and personal baggage in this last month.  Not all of it is pretty.

But I did start thinking about what I’ve written this year, 2006.  Between my blog, Ghosts of Seattle and my Nanorwrimo, I’ve put down close to 160,000 words.  That’s definitely a record year. If I added my handwritten journals to that I might even break 200K.  It’s not really a surprise then that I feel burned out.  Fried, actually.  It’s been kind of a marathon year, and there’s still a month to go…

I hope you all are cozy and warm, surrounded by people you adore and environments that make you happy.
