The Sundance Film Festival starts on the 18th and goes until the 28th.   I’m planning on being there, although the duration of my stay will depend entirely on the sorts of adventure and trouble I can get myself into.  To commemorate the shift in the BlissQuest, the Sundance Film Festival will be my last hurrah before returning to the real world of sorts.

This means I’m going with little or no forward planning.  My only expectation is to have fun and be flexible.  I suspect it will be an organized sort of chaos, but chaos none the less so I don’t intent to make plans – simply because planning is to chaos, as a nasty broccoli-cheese-fart is to a first date. A spontaneity ender.

There will be a new category on the right for Sundance blogging. I’m shooting for this Friday so hopefully the weather won’t be so blistering cold.  I haven’t been in this sort of cold since I lived where plugging your car in at night was absolutely necessary to make it start in the morning.

I want to meet up with friends in Salt Lake, Park City and Provo for coffee and lunch so if you’re in the area and want to get a drink – let me know.

Otherwise, I’m finishing up some work here in Hyrum so I can take off for a few days and have one last great adventure before the road turns back to the Pacific Northwest.
