OH MY GOD!!!

It’s so packed here. And freezing cold.  I have a new word – snotcicle.  Copious amounts of snot freezing in stalactite formations from the red swollen bulb of my nose. Sexy? Absolutely not, but it’s certainly trendy right now – everyone must have thought I was cool cuz everyone is sporting the Snotcicle.  I think it will make its grand premiere on the runway this winter in Paris. What can I say, I’m a trend setter….

The street is so packed that you have to wait in line to walk uphill.  Every now and then there’s a convoy of paparazzi moving as a mass of flashing bulbs that effectively blocks the view of whomever they’re taking pictures of.  Quite honestly, I have no desire to wait in the cold for a break in the wall or a glimpse of whoever they deem worthy enough to mob.

That being said, if I miss seeing Nathan Fillion – I might just have to fall on my sword.

I’ve been riding the bus all day to see what sorts of conversations I can eavesdrop on and how people are behaving.  I’ve heard these sentences several times;

“He’s much shorter than I thought.”

“I can go home and die now.”

My personal fav – “I stood there and giggled until she just walked away.  My one big chance and I just giggled! I’m such an idiot.”

So yeah, the craze is in full swing, it’s like shoulder to shoulder combat celebrity watching.

I’m your blogger, Athena, reporting from the trenches of Park City.  Stay tuned for more overheard conversations, corner of the eye glimpses of semi-recognizable faces and coffee house madness.

I would eat a snotcicle if I could meet Nathan Fillion.

If only just to stare at his butt.
