I’ve yet to find a job, but I have to be honest and say that for the last week, I haven’t actually been trying.  I’ve been playing catch up with friends and wandering around my favorite spots and driving a lot at night in the rain.  I painted my room in St. Mary’s basement and Sondra gave me a dresser, computer desk and a bunch of other goodies before she left for Alaska so I’ve been arranging a space so I can work on my writing.  Mostly, I’ve been feeling glad, relieved and happy to be home.  However, there’s been an unusually strong sense of sadness also that I can’t quite put my finger on.

I’m pursuing a couple of adventure ideas in my mind, but I can’t share them yet as I haven’t worked out all the kinks in my thoughts but as soon as I do I’ll let you all know.

The trees are beginning to bloom on 23rd and by the middle of next week they should be in full lavender blossom.  The week after that the waterfront in downtown will also explode into color and I’ll likely spend most of my time walking up and down the riverfront trail.  In a couple of weeks the Saturday Market will open and then it will be coffees and people watching and greasy corndogs. Yum.
