I just got a new job at a café. I’ll be working only a few hours a week around my temp job to start, but I’m so freaking excited! Finally, a coffee/server gig! I know there are a lot of people out there who hate waiting tables or slinging coffee, but I actually like it. Especially when it’s an environment that is fun and healthy and exciting – which this place is! So I’m totally stoked. I’ll be going tomorrow afternoon for a little bit of a jump in and see what it’s like and then hopefully next week I’ll do a day and two afternoons. At least it will give me a chance to get back into the grind of the scent of coffee, the sound of chatter and cohesion.

I’m super hyped right now so I can’t think of anything else to say.

There’s a new gal running the coffee shop at Eagle in Valdez – and she poured me the first good cup of coffee I’ve had up here since I left Ptown. Sweet, sweet, Kaladi coffee!!
