There were a lot of great responses about the social experiment. Thank you everyone.  I talked with Saij for almost two hours about the social and emotional ramifications of being a woman or a man in the human experience and I have to say, Saij had some very good points – he even called me on a couple of my faults – I’ll have to think about them and blog about it later.

It does however, interest me to know the difference in the way I think I presented my argument and how it was received – again, I’ll have to dissect it in my brain and get back to ya.

Matt met me at the Chance last night to meet my friends and get some food. We wandered up and down Hawthorn and sat on the grass in the park. It was almost midnight before we left the Baghdad and he asked about this weekend. I’ll be hanging with him on Saturday and have lots of new stuff to post.

I got home late last night and there was a box from Schiffer Publishing waiting with 9 copies of ‘Ghosts of Seattle’ so I guess it’s officially in. Nellie commented that Amazon was shipping hers and so the warehouses must be getting the boxes- which is good. I’m almost not even thrilled about it because it’s been going on so long and it doesn’t feel real.

Tired and smiling and strangely excited about this weekend.
