Last night’s lunar eclipse was stunning! I took a break from working to go watch it and even when I got out of work an hour later it was still happening.  I had grandiose plans of going home to sleep early but as soon as I shifted into 5th gear I remembered that I the moon was full and I hadn’t done my bridge tour for the month.

So I plugged in some very fitting Pink Floyd and took off South on the 405 so I could watch the progression of the eclipse each time I looped over the Freemont Bridge.

My city.  My beautiful amazing city, illuminated by stars and lights and reflections off the river.  Some heavy music and a lot of singing and today I feel like I took a long soak in the forever. Today is a twelve hour day at work, a trip to the gym and maybe a good book.  All is well.

Actually I didn’t have dark side in the car so I just went with The Wall.
Damn it would have been perfect though :)
