There are two writing fellowships I will be applying for this year. Which means, I will be running errands like mad all day Friday because I work Saturday and then I will be locked in my room for the remainders of the holiday Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to write. Write. And write some more. The first deadline is July 1st, so I have to get a move on. I doubt I will be leaving the house those three days. There may be a need for escape or a trip to the café for coffee but I need a working second draft finished by Wednesday, so I can begin third stage editing. YAY!
So if I’m not answering my phone, or if you see me and I appear to be talking to myself – that’s what’s going on.
