I’m not here today. I am not in the rainy land of ports with rivers and grey sky and piles of work on my desk.
I am somewhere else. Perhaps with the sound of surf and seagulls. I can smell ocean air and feel sand between my toes. No sense of urgency. Salt in the air and on the sides of my tongue. I can imagine for a moment that in an hour, I will be far out to sea and untouchable.
It’s just one of those kinds of days.

It sure is. I have been in some other realm alllll day and it has be WONDERFUL. Or else I would be absolutely miserable knowing that I have been sitting infront of this damn computer, doing the same damn work allll day, knowing that there are 10 million other things I would rather be doing.
So, I will continue to do the same drone work while my mind is off playing with fairys and pretty scantily clad fantasy men.
