In conversation with my dad:

Me: I’m a woman now, dad!

Dad: Well, if you say so, I guess.

Me: So now people won’t treat me like a kid!

Dad: I suspect that people will still think, you are young and a pretty woman who is single and alone and in need of help… (he chuckles) But that would be an unfortunate mistake on their part I think. God help them.

Me: Awwwww! Thanks, Dad!

Sorry about the pithy posts.  I’m sort of drained and can’t think of anything to write, which is a pretty good indicator that I’m processing something really heavy in the back of my mind because it’s diverting my voice. Weird.

I suspect I know what it is, and there is a lot to tell but for the moment, I feel like all I’m able to do is stay awake. Too much going on in my subconscious.
