In case you haven’t been up to date on the news – Haiti has suffered a catastrophic earthquake. The 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti yesterday and the current death toll estimate reported by AP is between 100k and half a million people.

I have already begun donating to the Red Cross via text. It’s easy to do – just text to the number ‘90999’ and put the word “HAITI” in the body of the text and send. You’ll soon receive instructions for confirmation. Each time you do this you’ll be donating 10$ to the Red cross HAITI relief and you can do it up to 3 times – all of which will show up on your next phone bill. Currently all donations to the Red Cross via this format are 100% proceed directly to the cause. No fees etc.
My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Haiti. A day like this reminds me that we are all fragile, unprepared and at the mercy of Mother Nature. Please help as much as you can. Thanks, everyone.
