On an updated note, I didn’t get the job. Three interviews and a handful of conversations over the phone and they offered it to someone else.
Don’t worry though, Folks! I got a taste of an environment that is healthier and more humane and it gave me a breath of fresh air! I will keep searching for a job in such an environment.
Admittedly, I’m a little bummed, but I’m also okay with it. I feel like the Universe has kept me pretty safe thus far and if I didn’t get this job – I like to believe it’s because there’s one even better for me waiting around the corner.
This prospect excites me! I can’t wait to have a job where I don’t come home feeling bad about myself as a person, where I don’t come home tired and sad.
So, cheer up all! I didn’t get this one, but things are looking up! I will have a good healthy place to work soon!
